Job summary

Mercy Health Clermont is seeking an ED Tech to provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN. The role supports vital sign checks, lab draws, ECGs, wound care, and patient safety in a fast-paced Emergency Department.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, and preferred BLS certification with EMR/EMT or Medical Assisting experience. This is a full-time, on-site role offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred BLS Basic Life Support certification at hire or ability to obtain it.
• EMR/EMT or Medical Assisting certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and support under RN guidance.
• Perform vital signs, lab draws, ECGs, wound care and related tasks.
• Document care accurately and participate in handoff reporting.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and high levels of customer service.
• Work independently under pressure and communicate changes to the team.
