Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (EDT) to support clinical care in a fast-paced ED under RN supervision. You will perform delegated tasks, monitor patients, assist with exams, and help ensure comfort, safety and timely delivery of care in accordance with Ohio Board of Nursing guidelines.

Required is at least a High School diploma, 3+ years of direct patient-care experience (PCA/MA/EMT or nursing student with clinical rotation), and current CPR/BLS

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Graduate or GED.
• 3+ years direct patient-care experience in PCA/MA/EMT or nursing student with rotation.
• Current CPR/BLS certification and Violence Prevention training.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical care under RN guidance per Ohio Board of Nursing guidelines.
• Assist with vital signs, wound care, specimen collection, and simple procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety and proper documentation.
