Job summary

Tri-City Medical Center is seeking a Supervisor for ED Support Services in the STC Emergency department on the Day shift. The role oversees Emergency Technicians, Unit Secretaries and Patient Safety Technicians, coordinating staffing, education, and safety standards.

Required: HS Diploma, 2 years clinical experience, and AHA BLS Healthcare Professional certification. Paramedic/EMT certifications or NVCI instructor capability are preferred. End date: 2026-09-26.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2 Years of related clinical experience.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Oversees Emergency Technicians, Unit Secretaries and Patient Safety Technicians.
• Schedules staff and approves timecards.
• Provides staff education and serves as NVCI instructor for unit staff.
• Oversees orientation of registry and new staff.
• Ensures staff competencies and injury/infection control standards.
• Manages inventory and supplies for cost effectiveness.
• Addresses patient concerns to promote satisfaction.
