UAB Medicine in Alabama is expanding its Emergency Department at UAB Hospital, a Level I trauma center, and seeks experienced registered nurses to join a large, high-acuity team. You will use the nursing process to promote health, assess needs with AACN Synergy, delegate care, and collaborate with physicians, counselors, and the care team to deliver safe, cost-effective patient care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of nursing experience preferred.
• 2+ years in psychiatric or emergency nursing preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; RN license required.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required depending on unit.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process to promote health and prevent illness.
• Assess patient needs and delegate/co-ordinate care within the healthcare team.
• Deliver care in collaboration with physicians, psychologists, podiatrists, and/or dentists when needed.

BLS certification

ACLS certification

PALS certification

Formation

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Registered Nurse licensure (RN)
