Job summary

UAB Medicine's Emergency Department is expanding at UAB Hospital, Alabama's first ACS-verified Level I Adult Trauma Center. We are hiring nurses for full-time and part-time AM and PM shifts, including weekends, to support the 115+ treatment and triage spaces and new inpatient unit.

Join a large, nationally recognized health system and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. RN licensure in Alabama, BLS, and additional certifications are required or pursued as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license in Alabama or eligibility required.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the AACN Synergy Model.
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of nursing care for patients and families.
