UAB Medicine is expanding its Emergency Department at UAB Hospital, Alabama’s first ACS-verified Level I Adult Trauma Center. We seek RNs to join a large, high-volume ED with 115+ treatment spaces and a 30-bed observation unit. Full-time and part-time shifts include 7 a.m.–7 p.m.

and 7 p.m.–7 a.m., with weekdays, weekends, and mixed schedules. Qualified candidates will have a Nursing degree, Alabama RN license (or eligibility), and BLS, with ACLS/PALS often required depending on unit.

Qualificações

• 3 years or more of nursing experience preferred.
• 2+ years of psychiatric/ED nursing experience preferred.
• RN license in Alabama required or eligible.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process and maintain health promotion.
• Coordinate and manage nursing care with the health care team.
• Assist with data collection, teaching and care planning.
