Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio seeks a Clinical Nurse II to lead a Care Delivery Team and direct nursing care for a specific patient group. The CN II demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and coordinates nursing care with independent assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

Precepts new staff and utilizes essential patient-care equipment. Full-time role; 36 hours/week, 7a-7:30p, every other weekend and holiday, with comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure from the state of Ohio as an RN.
• Successful completion of orientation and probationary period.
• Continued education including Fire Safety, CPR Recertification, ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Lead a care delivery team and direct nursing care for a patient group.
• Demonstrate leadership, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Precept new employees and mentor staff as assigned.
