Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Clinical Nurse II to lead a Care Delivery Team, directing nursing care for a specific group of patients with autonomy in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

The CN II precepts new staff, demonstrates clinical leadership, and uses essential patient-care equipment. Ohio RN licensure is required, with orientation completed and ongoing CE (12 hours/year) including CPR and ACLS. Full-time, rotating shifts and weekend coverage apply.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure from the state of Ohio as an RN.
• Obtains/maintains 12 contact hours of continuing education annually including Fire Safety and CPR Re-Certification; ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Direct care for a group of patients with independent assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Precepts new employees as assigned and demonstrates nursing leadership.
• Coordinates nursing care across the team and communicates with staff and supervisors.
