Job summary

OhioHealth in Florida (as context from the ad) is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across acute care settings within the Emergency Department. The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to LPNs/UAPs as per the Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for assigned patients. The role supports the 24/7/365 operations of the Emergency Department, works in a high reliability

Qualifications

• RN licensure in State of Ohio or eligible
• BLS certification required
• Associate degree in Nursing (RN) required; BSN preferred within 5 years of employment

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to patients and families across diverse acute care settings
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care per standards
• Delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs per Ohio Nurse Practice Act
• Participate in process improvement to improve quality and safety
• Support 24/7/365 department operations in Emergency Department
