Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across diverse, acute care settings within the Emergency Department and related units. The RN is accountable for nursing practice per the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs as appropriate.

The department operates 24/7/365 with a focus on safety, quality, and patient outcomes. Required: current Ohio RN license, BLS, and a BSN after 5 years of employment.

Qualifications

• BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
• RN - Registered Nurse
• Current Registered Nurse license (Ohio) or compact state
• BLS certification
• BSN required after 5 years of employment

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - perform health status assessment for population/individual
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - document planned nursing interventions
• Implementation/Evaluation - evaluate responses and revise care plan
• Leadership - participate in process improvement for quality and safety
• Operations - maintain safety, quality and efficiency as an HRO
