Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to deliver professional nursing care across the continuum in a 24/7/365 acute care setting. You will be accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing and work with licensed practical nurses and UAPs to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities include initial assessments, care planning, therapeutic interventions, and evaluating outcomes as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.
• RN licensure in good standing with State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - document planned interventions.
• Implementation/Evaluation - carry out care plans and evaluate progress.
• Leadership - participate in process improvement for quality and safety.
• Operations - support 24/7 departmental operations.
