Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. The RN provides general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum of care in a 24/7 environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Requirements include current Ohio RN license or multi-state compact, BLS certification, and BSN preferred with 5 years of practice. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation, and leadership in process

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or a multi-state compact license.
• BLS certification is required.
• BSN required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Lead and participate in process improvement to meet quality and safety goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
• Provide nursing care across the continuum in a 24/7/365 department.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs per Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
