Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time RN for 24 hours per week in the Atrium Health Behavioral Health: Charlotte - Emergency Department. Weekend day shifts, 7a-7p.

You will assess, plan, and deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. The role requires active RN license (multi-state or single-state) with BLS, and a Board-approved nursing education.

Qualifications

• RN license required or eligible to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an approved nursing education program.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care practices.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans.
• Administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• Float to other units as needed.
