Job summary

Atrium Health's SouthPark Emergency Department in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Magnet-designated ED team. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to ensure safety and quality.

Requirements include completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the state, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and at least 6 months of RN experience; CCU/ICU experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Complete an accredited nursing program and hold an active RN license.
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience; not for new graduates.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred: 1 year of Critical Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice and strong communication to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
