Job Summary and Qualifications

The RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers and the care team, using established nursing models. The RN advocates for patients and models our organization’s values to ensure excellent patient experiences and outcomes.

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management.
• Perform procedures and monitor patients as ordered, documenting care thoroughly and promptly.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care, translating complex information into understandable terms.

Qualifications:

• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course within 1 year.
• Registered Nurse license.
• Associate Degree required; BSN preferred with enrollment within 12 months and completion within 24 months.
• ACLS or ACLS Instructor within 90 days.
• BLS or BLS Instructor within 30 days.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention or equivalent within 1 year.
