Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Registers patients presenting for visits and explains the registration process.
• Processes co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles and balances due; safeguards cash and receipts.
• Completes Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire and adjusts coverage.
• Instructs patients and obtains signatures on consent/financial forms; records documents.
• Counsels patients regarding non-covered services and ABNs; ensures confidentiality.
