Responsibilities

• Create or activate patient accounts and enter demographic and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and scan required documents.
• Support bed placement, transfers, and discharges with clinical teams.
• Explain financial responsibility, collect payments when appropriate, and connect to financial assistance.
• Coordinate with case management and providers for proper patient placement.
• Provide directions and guidance throughout the hospital.
