This full-time role involves week-long on-call rotations and travel to Baptist facilities within an assigned region. The position requires 1–2 years of customer service, healthcare, and insurance experience, with cross-training across multiple patient access areas and strong knowledge of regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Customer Service experience required.
• 1–2 years of Healthcare experience required.
• 1–2 years of Insurance experience required.
• Experience with patient registration and multiple patient access systems preferred.
• Knowledge of EMTALA, AHCA, and Joint Commission standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and efficiently using multiple systems.
• Cross-train to work across multiple patient access areas.
• Provide service excellence to patients and visitors face-to-face and by phone.
• Support PAS goals, including collections and palm scanning.
• Ensure compliance with EMTALA, AHCA, Joint Commission requirements.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and professional relationships.
• Participate in week-long on-call rotations and regional travel.
• Coach and give feedback to improve compliance and accuracy.
