Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an Registration Clerk to support patient access at the point of care. You will perform scheduling, admission, and registration tasks while validating demographics and insurance information.

The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and compliance with privacy and policy guidelines. Candidate should have a High School diploma or GED, PC experience, and ideally one year in a medical or financial customer service setting.

Qualifications

• HS/GED or 1–3 months related training or equivalent
• Experience using a PC and common software applications
• One year of related experience in medical/financial customer service preferred

Responsibilities

• Schedule, register, and admit patients at bedside and verify insurance data
• Obtain signatures on regulatory paperwork and assist with authorization processes
• Identify patient financial responsibilities and post payments in the ADT system
• Provide excellent patient experience and maintain confidentiality
• Maintain accurate registration in the EHR and assist during off-hours as needed
