Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a highly qualified Registered Nurse Manager to oversee the Emergency Department on night shifts at a leading healthcare facility in Kansas City, MO. This role focuses on overall management, staff leadership, patient care quality, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced ED environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of emergency nursing experience with 2 years in a leadership role, holds Missouri RN licensure, and possesses BLS/ACLS/PALS

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Missouri.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required, Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in emergency nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong knowledge of emergency nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership abilities and ability to effectively manage a team.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and department activities.
• Participate in the budgeting process and monitor department expenses to ensure financial goals are met.
• Handle patient and family complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Stay current with advancements in emergency nursing and implement new practices and technologies as appropriate.
