Qualifications

• RN with Emergency Nursing or Acute Care certification.
• 4+ years recent ED nursing experience or 4 years Medical Surgical Telemetry with 1 year in ED.
• Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical functions related to delivery of patient care and nursing practice standards.
• Coordinate patient care activities by directing staff and unit operations.
• Manage patient throughput and provide break relief coverage during shifts.
• Serve as a role model and clinical resource for staff and patients; troubleshoot conflicts as they arise.
