Qualifications
- Current California RN license.
- NALS within 6 months of hire.
- Progressive professional nursing experience with leadership competency.
- Knowledge of emergency nursing practice, patient safety, quality improvement, staffing, performance management, regulatory requirements.
- Working knowledge of Joint Commission standards and California Title 22 requirements for ED operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical, operational, and administrative leadership of the Emergency Department.
- Ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care through effective leadership and staffing.
- Maintain accountability for department operations, nursing practice, workforce performance, and a culture of safety.
