Formación

• Registered Nurse license required.
• Experience leading emergency department operations and staff.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, DIA, DNV, OSHA and regulatory healthcare standards.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, organizes, coordinates and directs emergency department and ambulance department functions.
• Manages annual operating budget with hospital administration to ensure cost effective patient care.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and good clinical practice and maintains records for regulatory review.
• Develops and maintains job descriptions and scope of practice for department personnel.
• Partners with local and statewide agencies and network hospitals for resources and continuing education.
