Bay Area Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Manager to oversee daily operations, staffing, and patient care processes. You will drive quality outcomes, manage staff performance, and coordinate with clinical leadership to optimize resources and patient satisfaction.

The role requires RN licensure in Oregon, BLS/ACLS, and leadership experience in an acute care setting. Master’s degree or CCRN/CEN are preferred, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based care and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing or related field or plan to complete within two years.
• RN license in Oregon is required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS required.
• PALS or ENPC certification within 1 year of hire.
• MSN or related master’s degree preferred; CCRN/CEN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily and overall operation of the Emergency Department, ensuring patient care quality and staff performance.
• Supervise unit staff, monitor competency, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement performance improvement plans, with input from Clinical & Professional Development.
• Prepare and monitor unit budgets and productivity, optimize staffing, and manage resources.
• Collaborate with physicians, vendors, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
