Job summary

Clarke County Hospital seeks an experienced R.N. to oversee emergency and ambulance services, directing daily operations, staff development and patient flow.

You will lead quality improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with DNV, HIPAA, and state regulations, and collaborate with Medical Director and local agencies to maintain high standards of care. Responsibilities include budgeting, policy development, maintaining staff competencies, and promoting a patient-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and regulatory knowledge.
• Experience in emergency department management.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct ED and ambulance department functions to meet objectives.
• Analyze and plan budgets with administration for cost-effective care.
• Ensure compliance with DNV, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and patient experience efforts.
• Develop and maintain department policies and staff competencies.
• Collaborate with local/state agencies and network hospitals.
