Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care on a designated unit in collaboration with the Clinical Manager.
• Adjusts staff schedules and patient assignments to accommodate changes in acuity and resources.
• Provides guidance and mentorship to nursing staff; acts as a unit leader in the absence of the unit leader.
• Maintains environmental safety standards and infection control; ensures proper use of supplies and equipment.
• Communicates effectively with patients and families regarding care plans; participates in quality monitoring and performance improvement.
