Mercy Health in Youngstown is seeking an experienced RN for the ICU (Critical Care) at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. The role requires strong clinical assessment, leadership, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-acuity patient care.

You will develop and monitor care plans, administer medications safely, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions. Current RN licensure is required; BLS/ACLS/PALS as specified, with ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• RN licensure current in the state of Ohio.
• BLS or ACLS preferred at hire; ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• PALS preferred at hire or required in lieu of BLS/ACLS for Pediatric Units.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Assess initial and ongoing patient status and develop a plan of care.
• Synthesize information to take decisive, evidence-based actions.
• Anticipate and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Administer medications safely in line with policy.
