Job summary

VEG is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a fast-paced front-line ER team. You’ll handle cases from triage to critical care, collaborating with doctors to deliver compassionate, gold-standard care for pets and their families.

Ideal candidates hold an AVMA-accredited Vet Tech program degree and valid CVT/RVT/LV T/LV MT credentials, with 1+ year of emergency or specialty experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA-accredited program.
• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state.
• 1+ year of experience in veterinary technician role; emergency/specialty preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients with high-quality nursing care from triage to discharge.
• Assist with diagnostics, treatments, anesthesia, monitoring and critical care.
• Provide emotional support to clients and coordinate care with veterinarians.
• Operate imaging, sample collection, and other essential procedures.
• Maintain clear communication and teamwork to keep care flowing.
