Job summary

Atrium Health Providence Emergency Department is seeking a CT Technologist I for a part-time, PRN role. You will operate CT scanners, manage IV contrast, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate exams and timely results.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, verifying orders, and maintaining safety standards while supporting the department during busy shifts. This position requires ARRT/NMTCB credentials and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB, plus ARRT CT within 1 year of hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with Radiologist and resolve discrepancies.
• Identify patient with two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Review medical history and EMR data to correlate findings.
• Operate CT scanners and prep contrast administration.
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety practices.
• Assist Radiologist/PA during procedures and document results.
