Job summary

Atrium Health Stanly is seeking a CT Technologist I for PRN, part-time coverage. The nurse will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, administer IV contrast as needed, and maintain radiology standards.

The role requires ARRT/NMTCB certification within one year of hire and BLS, with adherence to radiation safety and patient care protocols. Hours per week are variable, and scheduling includes call back, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB and BLS is required within one year of hire.
• Understanding of patient growth and development principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced CT department with radiology staff.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and ensure accuracy before performing CT exams.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures clearly.
• Obtain complete medical history and review EMR data as needed.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment, including IV contrast and radiology systems.
• Maintain sterile technique and follow radiation safety protocols.
