Atrium Health is seeking a CT Technologist I for PRN, part-time coverage in North Carolina. The role operates CT scanners and related equipment, handling contrast material and patient monitoring per departmental protocols.

Flexibility for variable hours and on-call duties is required. Responsibilities include verifying orders, properly identifying patients, obtaining medical history, and ensuring high-quality imaging with Radiologist collaboration.

Formación

• ARRT recognition in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
• BLS certification required.
• Work experience not required (N/A).

Responsabilidades

• Examines requests and verifies orders, refers to Radiologist when discrepancies arise.
• Proper patient identification and explanation of procedures.
• Interview patients for medical history and document in EMR requisitions.
• Perform CT scanning from start to completion of dictated results.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast per protocol.
• Ensure image quality and consult Radiologist for abnormal findings.
• Assist with patient care and code blue emergencies when needed.
• Maintain sterile technique and proper safety protocols.

ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB program
