North Texas Emergency Communication Center in Carrollton, TX is seeking an Experienced Assistant Operations Manager to lead the Operations Department and participate in daily center activities. The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires ensuring staff performance, policy compliance, and efficient shift operations.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates leadership that supports the NTECC mission and plans.
Ensures quarterly and annual performance evaluations for staff.
Monitors staff performance, training, and policy compliance; acts as SME when needed.
Reviews dispatch audio and statistical reports; counsels and mentors staff as needed.
Participates in internal investigations and manages operations-related tasks such as schedule development and payroll approvals.
Coordinates QA and training to improve performance and processes; conducts QA reviews on radio traffic or calls.
