Applicants should have a high school diploma, strong typing, and relevant public safety certifications or the ability to obtain them. Shift work, including nights and holidays, is required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Typing 4,842 keystrokes/hr accurately.
• Maintain EMD, TCPR, Blue Card, CCIC/NCIC, and NIMS certifications.
• Adapt to rapid tech changes incl. NG9-1-1, CAD2CAD, Rapid SOS.
• Preferred Westminster Public Safety Telecommunicator experience.

Aufgaben

• Answer and triage 9-1-1 calls and non-emergency calls.
• Document information in CAD/RMS and coordinate with responders.
• Provide pre-arrival medical instructions when applicable.
• Maintain GIS knowledge of city geography and response areas.
• Work shift rotations including nights, weekends, and holidays.
