City of Westminster is seeking Public Safety Telecommunicator I/II/III to answer and triage 9-1-1 calls, provide emergency instructions, and document critical information in CAD/RMS. You will coordinate with police, fire, and EMS while maintaining safety and scene awareness.

This role requires handling high-stress situations, operating GIS tools, and maintaining CCIC/NCIC knowledge. Shift work includes nights, weekends, and holidays in a safety‑sensitive environment.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from high school or GED required.
• Type at least 4,842 keystrokes per hour accurately.
• Ability to earn EMD, TCPR, Blue Card, CCIC/NCIC, and FEMA certifications.
• Ability to learn Next Generation 9-1-1 and CAD interfaces.
• Public Safety Telecommunicator experience is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Answer and triage 9-1-1 emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Provide pre-arrival medical instructions (EMD) when needed.
• Document incident information in CAD/RMS accurately and timely.
• Coordinate and communicate with police, fire responders and partners.
• Maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress incidents.
• Operate GIS mapping and related geospatial tools.
• Maintain knowledge of CCIC/NCIC policies and procedures.
• Work shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays.
