Job summary

Coweta County Commissioners seeks an Emergency Dispatcher to answer calls, dispatch responders, and maintain accurate logs in a high-demand public safety environment.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to answer emergency/non-emergency calls and dispatch personnel.
• Ability to enter data accurately and maintain logs and reports.
• Capable of maintaining composure and professionalism under stress.

Responsibilities

• Answers emergency and non-emergency calls and dispatches medical, fire and law enforcement personnel and equipment.
• Monitors unit activities and maintains radio contact to ensure safety of field personnel.
• Operates CAD and related systems to enter data and generate reports.
• Provides information from NCIC/GCIC as required and communicates with other agencies.
