Qualifications

• Two years of work experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in customer service or telecommunications.
• Must enter the Communications Academy.

Responsibilities

• Answer 911 and non-emergency calls from the public.
• Operates emergency communication systems, including computers and radios.
• Participates in coordinating emergency responses.
• Accesses computer systems and databases.
• Testifies in court.
