Responsibilities

• Answer emergency and non-emergency calls and provide life-saving instructions.
• Dispatch calls via CAD and two-way radios; update status.
• Enter calls for service and perform NCIC/GCIC queries.
• Access NCIC/GCIC databases for public safety operations.
• Operate public safety radio system and monitor talk groups.
• Create CAD entries for calls and research historical incidents.
• Monitor weather alert systems and notify county personnel.
• Perform general office duties (fax, copy, filing, email).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
