Job summary

PHI Health, LLC is seeking a Communications Specialist in Phoenix, AZ. You will coordinate air and ground transport communications, input patient and transport data, and support flight operations with a multi-channel radio system.

The role requires strong customer service and medical terminology familiarity, plus MS Word/Excel skills. A High School diploma is required, and a pre-placement drug screen is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• EMS and/or air medical communications experience preferred.
• Experience in public relations, customer service, marketing or sales and/or healthcare billing preferred.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• Must be computer literate with Word and Excel; ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Assimilate information to make quality decisions and perform varied communications functions.
• Maintain effective communication with crew and aircraft using a multi-channel radio system.
• Input flight and transport data into the network database per FAA Part 135 policies.
• Coordinate medical transports nationally/internationally with related teams.
