Job summary

Doppel is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to act as the technical linchpin of the sales process. You will translate complex security concepts into business value and partner with Account Executives to design tailored, measurable solutions.

You’ll lead product demonstrations, guide discovery, respond to RFPs, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to align offerings with customer needs. A Northeast US-based candidate is preferred for this remote-first role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical sales, pre-sales, or solutions engineering (SaaS/cybersecurity).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, or related field or equivalent.
• Proficiency in automation tech and modern software architecture.
• Excellent communication translating tech to business value.
• Strong analytical skills to map workflows to ROI; prototyping/POC experience.
• Customer-obsessed, mission-focused, collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to strategize deals, design solutions, deliver technical presentations, and address customer questions throughout the sales cycle.
• Lead Technical Discovery to understand customer environments, workflows, and challenges and recommend Doppel solutions.
• Design and Demonstrate Solutions with compelling product demos and proofs of concept showing business impact.
• Manage RFPs/RFIs: own the technical components of proposals and information requests.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations to share feedback and influence roadmap priorities.
• Support Implementations: ensure technical success criteria are defined pre-sale and handed off post-sale.
• Track market trends to strengthen Doppel’s positioning and sales strategy.
