Job summary

Doppel is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to act as the technical linchpin of our sales process, combining deep product expertise with strategic sales acumen to help customers understand, adopt, and succeed with Doppel.

You’ll work with Account Executives to uncover customer pain points, design tailored solutions, and translate technical concepts into business value. This role requires strong communication and a remote-friendly, Northeast-based presence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or solutions engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in automation technologies and modern software architecture.
• Excellent communication skills translating technical language to business impact.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating workflows and ROI-driven recommendations.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping, proofs of concept, and post-sale implementation support.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to strategize deals, design solutions, deliver technical presentations, and address questions.
• Lead Technical Discovery to understand environments and challenges.
• Design and Demonstrate Solutions with demos and proofs of concept.
• Own technical components of RFPs/RFIs and ensure timely responses.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations on feedback and roadmap.
• Support implementations and post-sale handoffs to ensure success.
• Track market trends to strengthen Doppel’s positioning and sales strategy.
