Brandtech+ in India (remote) is seeking a Senior Business Affairs Director to lead the EMEA BA function, overseeing talent agreements, rights management, licensing, clearances, and compliance across markets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale processes and mitigate risk.

You will drive in-house capability, reduce external spend, and ensure commercial effectiveness while supporting growth and profitability across diverse media platforms.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience in Business Affairs, Rights Management, Production Legal, Media Compliance, or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience building and managing Business Affairs teams or functions.
• Strong experience supporting advertising, content production, media, marketing, or entertainment businesses.
• Expert knowledge of talent contracting, intellectual property rights, licensing, usage rights, and content clearances.
• Deep understanding of broadcast, digital, social, cinema, DOOH, and emerging media channels.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex negotiations and commercial agreements.

Aufgaben

• Lead, inspire, and develop a best-in-class Business Affairs function across EMEA.
• Act as the senior escalation point for all Business Affairs matters.
• Develop and implement BA policies, processes, and governance frameworks across the organization.
• Partner with production and client teams to provide strategic guidance throughout project lifecycles.
• Lead negotiations relating to talent, influencers, contributors, licensing, and usage rights.
• Oversee content, talent, music, and media clearance processes across all markets.
• Manage rights and usage approvals, renewals, extensions, and contractual obligations.
• Ensure compliance with territory-specific media regulations, advertising standards, and legal requirements.
