Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect (AI) to lead strategic AI engagements across a local region, coordinating with account teams to design, demo, and implement AI solutions on the Databricks platform. You will drive customer adoption of agentic AI capabilities and guide customers from architecture to value realization.

You will build credibility with C-suite stakeholders and deliver workshops, POCs, and collateral to accelerate production adoption, while influencing product direction

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives
• Experience with production-grade ML and generative AI applications in enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience building agentic AI solutions (RAG, tool calling, multi-agent orchestration)
• Strong understanding of agentic AI evaluation methodologies (MLflow tracing, LLM judges, custom scorers)
• Deep familiarity with frontier models (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini) deployment and optimization
• Proficient in SQL, Python, Spark, cloud platforms, and Lakehouse architectures
• Experience with Global System Integrators to drive AI outcomes
• Hands-on experience in major public clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP) and cloud-native AI platforms
• Undergraduate degree (or higher) in a technical field

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to guide strategic customers to successful implementations from architecture to deployment
• Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute AI adoption strategies
• Serve as an expert Solutions Architect to build credibility with CAIOs, CDOs, CTOs
• Deliver workshops, POCs, and collateral to demonstrate value of Databricks AI capabilities
• Lead design/implementation of high-value agentic AI use cases using Databricks tools
• Improve agent quality and production readiness with evaluation/monitoring strategies
• Influence product roadmap with field-derived insights for Product and Engineering
• Handle tier-3 escalation for complex technical challenges
• Define and refine the POC intake process to maximize customer success
