Blue Origin in Kent, Washington, seeks an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer to lead MIL-STD-461 testing and EMI/EMC verification for advanced aerospace systems.

You will design test plans, author reports, and mentor a small team while coordinating with architecture and design groups to ensure reliable spaceflight hardware. This role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 5 years EMI/EMC experience across MIL-STD methods. Willingness to work extended hours during campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of hands-on EMI/EMC testing and verification across MIL-STD methods.
• Strong troubleshooting and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead EMI/EMC test execution and MIL-STD-461 compliance efforts.
• Author test plans, procedures, and verification reports with traceability to MIL-STD methods.
• Mentor a small team and coordinate with architecture, design, and systems groups.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize EMI/EMC verification strategies.
