Job summary

RTX is seeking software engineers for the Battle Management Software Department in Indianapolis. You will support the software life cycle for aircraft embedded applications interfacing with avionics, displays, navigation and planning systems.

The role requires a STEM degree, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams. A DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree.
• Able to work closely in a multi-discipline team daily.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Developing software in a Windows environment.
• Developing and testing software using C, C++, C#, Java or closely related languages.
• Developing WPF and MVVM/MVC/MVP.
• Understanding software design, integration, and management.
• Proficiency in GIT and software configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Support development, test, and lifecycle activities for aircraft embedded software.
• Collaborate with software and systems engineers to design end-user oriented solutions.
• Contribute to requirements, design, integration, and test tasks across programs.
