Job summary

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network delivering fast, reliable internet to customers beyond existing networks. We are hiring engineers to develop embedded software, write drivers for I2C/SPI/CAN, and implement security features for satellite systems.

The role involves close collaboration with hardware and software teams to support board bring-up and system integration, with an export control requirement for US citizenship or eligible status.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in Rust, C, C++, or other modern languages.
• Write device drivers and system applications for satellite systems and interfaces like I2C, SPI, CAN.
• Develop security features for satellite systems.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams for board bring-up and integration.
