Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking an Engineer – Software to support the implementation and testing of embedded vehicle control software. The role involves writing C/C++ and Matlab autogenerated software for embedded platforms and networked vehicle systems.

You will work under supervision on basic engineering tasks, assist senior engineers, and participate in peer reviews while adhering to CMMI level 3 processes. Occasional off-site travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with internship experience or six (6) or more months of related work experience.
• Accredited Bachelor's degree in Software, Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, JSON, Python, or CAN, in addition to embedded C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, perform basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned.
• Support senior engineers in preparation of basic plans, designs, computation methods, and reporting.
• Design, implement, and document real-time embedded software written in C/C++.
