Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a Sr. Engineer– Software Systems to define and develop software requirements, architecture, and interfaces for vehicle and embedded systems.

You will convert customer and regulatory needs into verifiable software solutions and participate in design reviews and safety analyses. The role emphasizes model-based systems engineering (MBSE), UML/SysML, and collaboration with systems, controls, and safety teams to ensure robust, safe software across Oshkosh's vehicle

Qualifications

Accredited bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
Three or more years of related experience in software systems engineering or a comparable discipline.
Experience developing and reviewing software requirements and architecture.

Responsibilities

Define and develop software requirements and architecture for vehicle and embedded systems.
Analyze requirements from customers, vehicle, and safety perspectives and decompose into software-level specs.
Support safety analyses and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure system safety and compliance.
