Job summary

Istari Digital is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with customer teams in aerospace and defense programs. You will write production code, architect integrations, and drive digital engineering workflows within mission-critical environments.

You’ll operate at the intersection of CAD/CFD/FEM pipelines and Istari's platform, delivering real value on-site with customers while collaborating with product and engineering to shape the next generation of digital tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals; you write production-quality code and can defend architectural decisions.
• Ability to work on-site with customers in defense/aerospace contexts and coordinate with multifunction teams.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments without extensive hand-holding.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customer engineering teams to understand workflows and constraints; architect and build integrations.
• Develop, test, and maintain workflow solutions and reusable code for deployments.
• Translate field experience into product insights and contribute to roadmap discussions.
