Job summary

Istari Digital seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with customer teams, architecting and delivering software integrations that connect CAD, CFD, FEM pipelines to Istari's platform.

You will be a builder, writing production-grade code, and working at the intersection of digital engineering workflows and mission-critical operations. On-site work with U.S. defense contexts is required, with clearance eligibility a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and production-quality code.
• Experience with CAD, CFD, FEM, or related simulation toolchains.
• Comfort in ambiguous, fast-moving environments without heavy guidance.
• Ability to work on-site with customers in a U.S. defense/aerospace context (clearance eligibility; active clearance a plus).
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customer engineering teams to understand workflows and constraints.
• Architect and build integrations that connect customer workflows to Istari's platform.
• Develop, test, and maintain integrations and workflow solutions following modern software practices.
• Translate field experience into actionable product insights for internal reviews and roadmaps.
