Istari is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with customer teams and integrate the Istari platform into CAD, CFD, and FEM workflows in aerospace and defense settings. Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals; production-quality code.
• Experience with digital engineering toolchains such as CAD, CFD, FEM.
• Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• On-site work with U.S. customers in defense/aerospace context (clearance helpful).
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customer engineering teams to understand their workflows and constraints.
• Architect and build integrations of Istari's platform with CAD/CFD/FEM pipelines.
• Develop, test, and maintain integrations and workflow solutions.
• Serve as the primary technical interface for the customer and provide proactive value.
• Translate field experience into product insights and contribute to roadmap discussions.
